Spectrolite is the trade name for top-grade labradorite from Ylämaa, Finland. It's distinguished from ordinary labradorite by its darker base colour and the full-spectrum colour flash (blues, greens, golds, and reds all present in a single stone) that gives it its name. The optical effect, called labradorescence, is caused by light diffracting through microscopic twinning planes within the feldspar. The stone itself produces the colour, with no dye or treatment involved. A genuinely spectacular cab material.

A note about product images
Every piece in our collection is photographed with care and under varied natural and studio lighting to reflect its unique character. While we strive to present colours and details as accurately as possible, variations may occur. Differences in monitors, devices, and individual screen settings can alter how colours and finishes appear online. Accordingly, the product you receive may not be an exact match to what is viewed on your screen.
By purchasing from Lost Ancients Jewelry, you acknowledge and accept that minor variations in colour, tone, and appearance are a natural part of both the digital display process and the timeless uniqueness of each stone, gem, and handcrafted piece.
