Cabochons

A cabochon is a stone cut and polished into a smooth, domed shape rather than faceted. It's one of the oldest lapidary techniques still in use today, and remains the standard cut for opaque and semi-translucent stones like turquoise, jade, agate, and gem silica, where the goal is to showcase color and pattern rather than refract light.

Our cabochon collection spans the full range of material we work with, from Sleeping Beauty turquoise to Australian variscite to gem silica from named mines like Inspiration and Good Day. Each cabochon is cut by hand and shaped to the stone's natural pattern, so no two pieces ever look quite the same.
